DAMAGE <DQ>50-50<DQ> TO RUN AT KEMPTON Storm Damage`s chances of running in the Racing Post Chase at Kempton Park were today described as '50-50'. The Paul Nicholls-trained nine-year-old struck into himself while being schooled on Wednesday throwing his participation in Saturday`s race in doubt. 'Storm Damage cantered this morning but is still 50-50 after his knock and we will probably not know until possibly the morning of the race,' Nicholls revealed. The Ditcheat trainer also has Ad Hoc and Flaked Oats in the Stg£80,000 contest and he added: 'Ad Hoc will not run if the course has more rain. 'Kempton Park is an easy enough track for Flaked Oats and the owners are keen to run so we are going for it.' Henry Daly is considering running Young Spartacus in the three-mile test. The eight-year-old is also entered over two and a half miles at Haydock Park the same afternoon but Daly said: 'At the moment I am veering towards Kempton Park. 'With regards to the trip, at Kelso (a distance third to Robbo in November) when over three miles he did not run up to his best and that was not due to the trip, so I am hopeful he will stay and the ground will not be a problem.' The going is currently described as good to soft, good in places on the chase course. Djeddah will represent Francois Doumen in the Racing Post Chase and the Chantilly-based trainer`s son Thierry said: 'I thought he ran a very good comeback race at Sandown (fourth behind Storm Damage in the Agfa Diamond Chase). 'He will love the ground and the trip. He is fit and well for Saturday.'
